PS2 / AT / XT Version with Adapters

The POS (Point Of Sale) Data Logger is similar to a portable magneticstripe reader in that it logs data and can be used for memory back-up in case of power failure. This device quickly connects in-line on the POS terminal. We're sure you have seen these POS terminals in just about EVERY store & some terminals have a computer-like keyboard with a built-in credit card reader, others have a separate credit card reader and some even have a credit card reader with a PIN pad where you enter your PIN # if you are using a debit card. This device logs approximately15,000 card swipes / data in itsGIANT MEMORY. It grabs the ENTIRE contents of all data passing through the terminal including credit card or debit card #, expiration date, discretionary data,etc., along with PIN # (if Pin pad is used). It appears like an ordinary RFI suppressor commonly found on many cables plugged into these machines. We have two versions. The PS2 / AT / XT Version will work on ANY POS machine that connects to a PC via the PS2, AT, XT port. The USB Version will work on many POS machines that connect to a PC via the USB port. Once the data is logged, the device can be EASILY AND QUICKLY removed (takes about 2 seconds for installation or removal) from the store POS machine and plugged into another computer where you can download and save the data. The primary use for this device is in case of a computer and / or power failure and transactions are lost, then the device can be used to reconstruct transactions to be re-processed. This device is a battery powered portable magnetic stripe card reader, which is specially designed for magnetic stripe data collection (same as CREDIT CARD DATA) anytime and anywhere without a computer. The built-in time clock indicates every transaction date and time. Data is read from the card and stored into memory. It can then be downloaded to a computer where the stored data can be viewed. This unit comes complete with software and cables.

This unit functions the same as the above unit, except it is connected to a PDA / Pocket PC and can collect more than 3000 card swipes depending on the memory of your PDA. It is a portable magnetic stripe card reader, which is specially designed for magnetic stripe data collection (same as CREDIT CARD DATA) anytime and anywhere without a computer. Data is read from the card and stored into memory. It can then be downloaded to a computer where the stored data can be viewed.

This easy to install compact Portable Magnetic Card Reader connects to a PDA / Pocket PC through the CF card interface (PDA not included but can be purchased cheaply on Ebay). To install, just plug in the Portable Card Reader into the CF card slot on a PDA or Pocket PC. Next, install the software by way of data synchronization to the PDA. Software and instructions are included.
